Mr. Vineet Kanaujia is an eminent Marketing Leader of India Inc. He specializes in building brands and has played vital roles in enabling brands like Samsung and Safexpress attain iconic status in India.
With an experience of over thirteen years, he is a well known name in the corporate fraternity. He is a renowned speaker at several conferences. His views on a variety of subjects are widely sought after by top newspapers, magazines and TV channels.
For his incredible work in the field of marketing, he has been honored as ‘India’s Greatest Brand Builder’ by CMO Asia, ‘Top 25 Marketing Leader of India’ by World Brand Congress and ‘Best CMO of the Year’ by CMO Council, USA. He is also one of the top 50 marketing leaders of India to be inducted into the ‘PowerBrands Hall of Fame’.
Early on in his career, he undertook significant assignments with HCL and ConAgra Foods. This was followed by a long stint with world’s largest conglomerate Samsung, where he worked as Head - Marketing.
At Samsung, he developed an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) strategy. This helped him create Market Leadership for Samsung across multiple businesses. For his invaluable contribution in building Samsung brand equity in India, he was honored with the highly prestigious Award of ‘Best Employee of Samsung’.
He joined Safexpress five years back. Since then, he has made a colossal contribution in the rapid growth of the firm. Drawing on his extensive IMC experience with Samsung, he created an Integrated Marketing Communications strategy for Safexpress, with eight different silos. Each of these silos was focused upon distinctly and strongly.
His IMC strategy has produced fantastic results, with Safexpress brand equity increasing remarkably in the last five years. Under his leadership, Safexpress has been honored as Master Brand, PowerBrand and India’s Most Promising Brand. The brand has also been conferred with the coveted Golden Peacock Award.
Mr. Kanaujia received his MBA Degree in Marketing from Faculty of Management Studies (Delhi) in 1999, post his Engineering in 1997. His hobbies include reading, trekking and soccer.
