Dr. Om Manchanda,
Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Lal PathLabs

An MBA from prestigious management institute IIM-Ahmedabad, he made his debut with Hindustan Unilever in 1990. He won Unilever's Global Innovation Award in the year 1998 for leading a concept to launch an innovative tea-based beverage in India.

From Hindustan Unilever, Mr. Manchanda moved to the all-American company Monsanto India as the head of Marketing and later as head of Sales in 1999. His next pit-stop was Ranbaxy Consumer Healthcare in 2003 as Head of Marketing. Later he led the international and innovation group of the company’s Consumer Healthcare Division. He moved on from Ranbaxy after two-and-a-half years to Dr Lal PathLabs Pvt. Ltd. (LPL)

Today LPL, under his leadership, is transformed into India's leading medical diagnostics company with 150-strong laboratory network, 2,000 collection centres, and 6,000 pick-up points in more than 700 cities.
